After spending years sailing, an entrepreneur recognized the untapped potential in the nautical sector of the Balearic Islands and set out to boost its competitiveness in the Mediterranean. In 2015, he established AlexPalma, then Barco Proyectos Náuticos in 2017, followed by Casco Proyectos Náuticos and Yacht Special Projects in 2019.
This led to the establishment of Grupo Barco, a well-respected yacht repair and maintenance company in Mallorca. In 2023, he sold these businesses to pursue a new venture, UNIC MARINE. (with partners GRUPO VERLIO and ESTELA SHIPPING BARCELONA S.L.)

Project Manager Interiors
After completing her university studies and gaining experience at sea, she held positions at MB92 Shipyard and then as a Project Manager at a yacht interior company in Palma. Later, she worked with Alex to launch his first business, AlexPalma, in 2015, later rebranded as "Barco." In this capacity, she oversaw the Interior and Marketing departments and served as the office manager.
In 2023, she left Barco to become a partner with Alex in their newest venture, UNIC MARINE.
Additionally, Alex founded the association for nautical development of companies and self-employed (ADNEA) to address the needs of the nautical sector in the Balearic Islands, where he currently serves as the president.
